Peinte à l’encre thermique, la phrase Il y a tout ce qui se montre et il y a tout ce qui peut disparaître. s’effacera petit à petit si elle est exposée au soleil. Elle réapparaîtra si soumise à une température en dessous de zéro. Visible, invisible, l’écriture est toujours présente.
Entre l’apparent et l’évanoui, l’énonciation questionne notre regard.

Painted with thermochromic ink, the sentence “Il y a tout ce qui se montre et il y a tout ce qui peut disparaître” (There is all that shows itself, and all that may disappear) will gradually fade when exposed to sunlight. It will reappear when subjected to temperatures below zero. Visible, invisible—the writing remains ever present.
Between the apparent and the vanished, this statement questions our gaze.
